When I retired from the military, I took the uniform off one day and put on civilian clothes the next day and went on to work for the Department of Defense. I’ve participated in war environments and peacekeeping operations. They all face challenges every day, and that motivates me to keep moving forward. I have family members in Europe, in Mexico, and across the U.S.
